Meeting point at the Click&Bike/Le Lolo bike store 646 chemin de Navarrosse, Parking du camping des Écureuils open to all.
At the store, you’ll be briefed, equipped and accompanied to the canoe and lake.
Free run on the LAC DE CAZAUX SANGUINET with its swans, ducks and fragile flora, the beauty of its waters sometimes transparent, sometimes rusty, the lake is ideal for canoeing as a couple or as a family, you’ll find a multitude of picnic beaches protected by reeds.
We rent on a unique trail :
PARCOURS FORÊT GALERIE (12km approx. 3H)
Between Belin-Beliet and Salles, this is a winding, untamed trail, untouched by mass tourism.
You can stop off at one of the many beaches or near the Vieux-Lugos church. Kingfisher, cistude turtle, moorhen etc. the fauna here is rich and the stretch boasts some of the finest specimens of royal osmund (fern) one of the symbols of the Landes de Gascogne regional nature park.
We have 2 types of canoe.
The Rotomod Optimo has 2 places for paddlers and 1 central place for a third person if necessary (under 12).
The Dag canadien 2-person canoe with 2 center seats for children of similar weight and height.
29€/ ADULTS – 15€/ CHILDREN (UNDER 12)
On the same route as the dry hire, Christophe or Younes will stop you at the church of Vieux-Lugos (km4) for a picnic (not supplied). There, they’ll pass on their knowledge of the history of their region. You’ll return to your canoes and stop off at a gigantic palombière (km 8), where you’ll enjoy a glass of Floc de Gascogne while learning more about the local history. Finally, you’ll finish your last 4 km of canoeing to the finish point, where the drivers will be transported to the vehicle that will return to pick up their families if they so wish at the end of the day.
Meeting point is directly at PONT DE MESPLET at 11 a.m.
Exit from the water around 4:30 p.m.
